Liz Solka, Director

Liz brings to Implementations extensive organizational experience, a methodical approach derived from her years in the legal profession, and an exceptional ability to make things happen.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston Law Center, Liz practiced commercial litigation and insurance law from 1986 through 1992.   As an attorney for the Texas Department of Insurance, Liz handled enforcement actions, resolved disciplinary and hazardous financial condition cases, and served as a liaison to the Attorney General’s office.

In the mid-1990’s Liz turned her attention to more operational and organizational pursuits.  As the Vice President of Programming and a member of the Executive Committee for the Jewish Community Association of Austin, Liz developed the JCAA committee structure, designed operational guidelines, and was responsible for programming oversight.  She developed and presented numerous training programs for both volunteer and professional leaders at seminars, board retreats, orientations, and annual meetings, on topics including leadership, programming, and staff training. 

As a Director at Implementations, Liz manages business development and consults with both for-profit and non-profit organizations in areas including strategic planning, training, conflict resolution, board development, and programming. She is also a seasoned facilitator.

Liz lives with her family in Austin, Texas.
